This carbon steel tee listing includes seamless construction and API 5L X65 references with an anti-corrosion coating description. The original image shows red-surfaced tee forms, while the selectable type reads Reducer. Confirm the actual fitting, material scope and coating package for the order before approving a configuration.

Specify coating performance through actual records

Identify the coating system, covered surfaces, required thickness, surface acceptance and inspection criteria. Clarify the anti-corrosion title against the Painting table entry. Red appearance cannot identify coating chemistry or demonstrate protective performance, so obtain the actual application and acceptance documentation for the supplied treatment.

Describe internal and external exposure separately when defining the coating requirements. Confirm the relationship between the selected surface package, mating-joint areas, handling and preservation. A general anti-corrosion label does not establish a guarantee across every fluid, temperature or environment in which the fitting may be used.

Clarify fitting material and tee geometry

Establish how API 5L X65 applies to the actual fitting and adjoining pipe requirements. Request supplied grade, condition and traceability records; the Carbon Steel and a234wpb labels do not certify an X65 fitting. Obtain production evidence supporting the Seamless and Forged references for the selected item.

Provide run and branch sizes, bore, wall, center-to-end dimensions, welding ends and tolerances on the approved drawing. Resolve the Reducer option mapping and confirm Equal geometry using actual measurements. Hexagon, Customized Size and Metric entries do not replace dimensions or agreed units for the ordered component.

Define the intended pipeline service

State the fluid, composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, transients and external loads. High Pressure and Other class provide no numerical allowable limits. Evaluate the confirmed material, geometry, joint and coating for those conditions, then agree dimensional and end inspections, material and coating records, marking, preservation and delivery.
