This WPB A234 carbon steel tee is listed for petrochemical oil plants with sand-blasted and primer-coated wording. The main image shows a tee form, while the actual variants use Reducer labels. Confirm the selected fitting identity together with its surface preparation and supplied coating stage.
Specify the sand-blasted and primer-coated condition
Request the required preparation condition, primer system, coverage, thickness and inspection criteria for the intended project. The table only says Painting, so it does not complete the primer specification. Establish the actual condition supplied and whether subsequent coating work is required under the agreed finish requirements.
Neither the title nor a dark-looking photograph proves primer chemistry, corrosion performance or compatibility with process fluids. Obtain treatment and inspection records for the selected fitting. Define relevant internal and external surfaces and the exposure conditions used when assessing the proposed finish.
Confirm geometry and the WPB supply documentation
Resolve the tee title and Equal field against the Reducer-labelled selection using a drawing of the run, branch and ends. The image supports a tee-shaped form without establishing exact end equality. Specify actual sizes, wall or schedule, center distances and welding end preparation within the broad half-inch to 110-inch entry.
Agree the metric dimensions corresponding to the selected nominal size. Request governing B16.9 and A234 WPB editions, material condition, traceability and forged manufacturing records. Carbon Steel and a234wpb are material labels, not verified grade reports. Clarify customized mounting or thread fields only against the actual geometry.
Review the petrochemical oil service and acceptance tests
Provide oil composition, process exposure, pressure, temperature, cycling and loads for assessment of material, joints and rating. High Pressure offers no numerical operating limit. Agree project tests and acceptance evidence for the confirmed tee configuration and finish, including the selected material and coating inspection records.
