This SSAW spiral-welded steel pipe enquiry follows the API 5L and X42–X65 title references for oil and gas transportation. The table describes non-alloy pipe and a generic ASTM standard. Confirm the exact grade and governing supply documents before relying on the title for project acceptance.
Select pipe dimensions from the recorded supply ranges
Outside diameter is listed as 219–1066 mm, with a 6–20 mm thickness range. Two actual variants pair that thickness range with either 12 m or 6 m length. Diameter and grade are not individual options, so state one complete dimensional and material requirement in the enquiry.
The ±1% tolerance has no identified dimensional basis. Request its applicable measurement, permitted deviations, ovality, straightness, end condition and inspection method. Obtain a selected drawing and confirm the available diameter/wall/length combination rather than assuming every value within both ranges can be supplied together.
Review the spiral seam and supporting supply records
Ask for manufacturing records and seam examination criteria corresponding to the SSAW description. Identify the exact API 5L and ASTM documents, editions, applicable scope and traceability. The API and ISO 9001 certificate entries need supporting certificate details, issuer, scope and validity before certification is asserted.
The title also mentions bending applications and Hebei origin. Confirm supply origin where relevant and agree bending radius, procedure, dimensional acceptance and inspection if bending is required. This wording does not establish that a finished bend is included.
Define the oil and gas transportation conditions
Supply medium composition, operating pressure, temperature, cycling, corrosion exposure and mechanical loads for material and seam review. Require the selected duty, inspection/testing and documentary acceptance package. Fluid, drill, hydraulic, gas, oil and special-pipe labels in the table do not independently qualify the pipe for each application.
